YES – the rules have not changed. There are proposed rules that will soon be submitted and go through the comment and review process. At this point, the old rules still apply. The new rules will likely not be effective for more than a year (expect January 1, 2020). To know the rules that apply to your case, look at your school’s Title IX Code for the academic year of the date of the charge. These change a little each year, so be careful. These are usually posted on the school’s website. The Title IX code is often different from the Student Conduct Code.
